Nafasi Yangu Africa is a leading social enterprise founded by Janet Irungu, dedicated to promoting the safeguarding and empowerment of children in Kenya, mentorship and psychosocial support for youth. With over a decade of experience, our team is passionate about protecting the rights of every child, empowering the youth in pursuit of their dreams for sustainable development.
Volunteers can tutor children in core subjects or mentor them in life skills, helping bridge academic gaps and fostering confidence in their abilities.
Engage in structured play, art therapy, or group activities to nurture emotional resilience and social skills in children overcoming trauma or instability.
Assist in organizing donation drives, meal programs, or hygiene kits to ensure children’s basic needs are met, freeing them to focus on growth and learning.
Raise awareness through campaigns or workshops to destigmatize challenges these children face, advocating for policies that protect their rights and opportunities.
Our mission is to promote a culture of safeguarding children, youth wellness , mentorship and putting their best interests at the forefront. We strive to empower child protection actors, care givers and youth with capacity building, data-driven policies, and extensive support
networks for the promotion of children’s welfare and empowered youth driven programs.
